Farm Tours

Are you interested in visiting one or more of our members’ farms?

There are two ways to make that happen!

1. Attend one of our regularly scheduled farm tours.

We post those events on this page (below) and under our Upcoming Events. Here are a few tips on how to sign-up:
  • Pre-registration is required for all farm tours, please call the office in order to register 415.663.9667

  • “Friends” of Marin Organic receive reduced rates (and sometimes free of charge) for all of our farm tours. “Friends” are also the first (and sometimes only) people in our community that are sent email alerts when new farm tours are scheduled, they have the opportunity to sign-up before the event is sold out. To become a “Friend” the membership cost is $40 for the year, please click here to join!

2. Create your own (Farm Tour) Adventure!

These tours are available for schools participating in our Organic School Lunch Program, organizations and farmers wanting to learn more about our work, and for donors and funding organizations.

Please call the office for more details 415.663.9667.

Slow Food Nation '08

The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most important regions in America for sustainable food and wine, with one of the nation’s largest concentrations of Slow Food members. Slow Food Journeys will show you the best of this region, on one-day trips hosted by local Slow Food convivia. Each of these convivia have used their personal contacts to create one-of-a-kind visits to local fisheries, wineries, ranches and farms. You will enjoy Slow Food style food, wine and education, and most importantly, Slow Food conviviality. Additional Slow Journeys are being organized; check back soon for more details.
